Donor Advised Funds
To make a donation from your Donor Advised Fund, please request that your financial institution mail it to us at the address below or contact stacy@ninelivesfoundation.org if they are processing it through an EFT. Please ask that they identify that the gift is from you, as they frequently don’t, and also contact accounting@ninelivesfoundation.org to let us know it’s coming.

Cat’s Whiskers Club
Our Cat’s Whiskers Club recognizes cat lovers who support Nine Lives’ lifesaving work with cumulative gifts of $1,000 or more each year. eCards
Your honorary donation helps rescue and care for homeless and at-risk cats and kittens.
Sending an eCard is a meaningful way to express your care for family and friends, celebrate special occasions, or bring comfort during sadness. With an honorary gift to Nine Lives, your eCard honors a person or pet while also giving the gift of life to hurting and homeless animals.
Available eCards include In Memory, In Honor, Thank You, Congratulations, Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, and more. Seasonal eCards are also available for holidays.

Make a Qualified Minimum Distribution (QMD)
If you are 73 years old and have an IRA, you must make an annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and making a charitable gift with a QCD is a great way to meet that requirement and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution. To put your distribution to great use rescuing cats and kittens, request that your IRA custodian send the money directly to Nine Lives (it cannot come through you).
You can also make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) if you are 70 ½ years old.
Please email us at giving@ninelives.org so we will know it is coming and can attribute it correctly to you. We will send you a written acknowledgement and your custodian will send you Form 1099-R; the QCD/QMD amount is reported as tax-free income on your tax return.
